As a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Same Day Care/PACU at Southwest Health System, Inc. in Cortez, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with efficiency, safety, and courtesy. To thrive as a Full-Time Registered Nurse in Same Day Care/PACU at Southwest Health System, Inc. in Cortez, a range of essential skills and qualifications are necessary. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program, with an associate degree at minimum and a bachelor's degree preferred.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate.
• Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate.
• Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.

Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

Basic computer knowledge. Strong communication skills.
