We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant in our thriving endodontic office. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the endodontist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment, explaining procedures and answering any questions to alleviate concerns.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the endodontist.
- Perform dental charting and record patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, anticipating the endodontist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Manage inventory and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure seamless workflow.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Continuously enhance skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
