Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Licensed Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor based in Mount Vernon, NY, with flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The role involves providing counseling services to diverse clients while collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, tracking client progress, and maintaining compliance with documentation and reporting standards. The role also includes assisting clients in accessing resources and support through community and professional networks. Qualifications Proficiency in counseling techniques, mental health assessment, and personalized treatment planning Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills Ability to build trust with clients while fostering an empathetic and non-judgmental environment Knowledge of cultural competency and sensitivity in diverse client populations Familiarity with community resources, referral processes, and case management Strong organizational and documentation skills to ensure compliance and effective workflow Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field and valid licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC) in the state of New York Experience in pediatric, family, or individual counseling is a plus Commitment to holistic and individualized care approaches #J-18808-Ljbffr Giving Hope LLC
