Hardware Engineer Senior (OCONUS/Day Staff )

Position Overview Hardware Engineer (Senior) with TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance, based at an OCONUS location. Early‑mid career (level 3) requiring 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree. 2‑year on‑site commitment with possible CONUS travel prior to relocation, flexible schedule and after‑hour/on‑call support may be required. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and direction to Operations & Maintenance support personnel for large integrated hardware‑software communications systems. Preventative and corrective maintenance support across multiple external interfaces over a robust multi‑tiered network. Generate discrepancy reports and assist in work‑off and resolution. Provide O&M training/mentoring. Trend performance and develop procedures. Collect data, isolate faults, and perform real‑time manual actions to restore system capabilities. Attend, participate, and/or lead contractor and customer meetings. Develop troubleshooting/recovery plans and support customer briefs. Repair, test, and replace failed hardware; support discrepancy work‑off, installation efforts, and special test configurations. Basic Qualifications Current TS/SCI Security Clearance with valid CI Polygraph. Ability to travel to an OCONUS overseas site. Experience with MS Office Products, Windows operating systems, and applications. Physical capability to climb stairs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and work in non‑environment‑controlled spaces. Bachelor’s degree. Desired Skills Experience with RF communication antennas and ground systems, wideband/narrowband applications, and signal analysis. Experience with SATCOM ground terminals, parabolic antennas, control, and status networks. Experience with test equipment: built‑in test equipment, oscilloscopes, spectrum/link/network analyzers, power meters, signal generators. Experience with facility support systems for RF ground terminal systems (power, HVAC, etc.). Prior electronics and/or satellite communications training or experience. Knowledge of network management, TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, VMware, scripting, Windows 7, and Microsoft software products. Certifications: IAT Level I or higher (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.). Strong oral and written communication skills. Proactive, positive team player with ability to collaborate across contractor teams. Experience with high‑speed networks, IT systems, and real‑time software applications supporting communications systems. Clearance Level TS/SCI with Polygraph. Compensation Annual base salary range $85,500 – $150,765 (varies by state). Incentive plan eligible.
