Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Pediatric Day Care Setting

Support Children in a Specialized, Purpose-Driven Environment Sproutlings is a one-of-a-kind pediatric day care and preschool that combines traditional early childhood education with Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) services for medically fragile children.

We're seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers who want to make a real difference. As a CNA, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team working to ensure each child receives safe, nurturing, and personalized carewhether they're here for medical support or early learning experiences.

What you'll do Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you'll:

• assist with daily care routines including dressing, feeding, and personal care
• provide compassionate incontinence care and help reposition children as needed
• transport children using wheelchairs or stretchers safely and attentively
• assist with physical exams and help monitor children's behavior or changes in condition
• support mealtime routines and feeding assistance as needed
• help children transition throughout the dayincluding arrival, pickup, and classroom changes
• ensure proper documentation such as clocking children in/out and reporting updates to staff
• respond appropriately to emergency procedures including fire, weather, and disaster alerts
• foster a calm, cheerful environment that supports each child's dignity and well-being
• participate in themed activities and support classroom engagement when needed

What you'll bring

• high school diploma or equivalent
• Current - State of KY - Certified Nursing Assistant License
• must be 18 years or older
• experience working with children or in a care environment preferred
• strong multitasking, communication, and time management skills
• readiness to follow medical and safety procedures
• high level of patience, empathy, and teamwork
• successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CNA certification that is current and in good standing in Kentucky.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current and active listing on the Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and infection control practices.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting students.
• Compassionate attitude and strong interpersonal skills for working with student, families, and staff.
