Horizon House, a non-profit organization, has been widely recognized for its services as a provider of community-based behavioral health, intellectual disabled and homeless services in Eastern Pennsylvania and the state of Delaware. Each year, Horizon House provides a continuum of services at over 100 sites to over 4,5000 adults with psychiatric or developmental disabilities, drug and alcohol addictions, and/or homelessness. A pioneer in the field of community-based rehabilitation, Horizon House is widely recognized for its innovative approach to the delivery of services in a community setting. Currently, we are seeking full time Electronic Health Records(EHR) Technician to work in our Information Technology Department. This position will be one of our central points of contact with clinical computer users for technical support and assistance. Some of the duties are:

• Provide customer support and training on proper use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Performing in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with application software, and prepares details of
• Investigate and resolve problems with computer software and Credible Electronic Health Records (EHR) by telephone, computer, and in person.
• Training users on proper use of the EHR system and how to log issues properly. The training will take place in groups and individually.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology; strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience clearly relevant to the position may be considered.
• Demonstrated skills in using EHR and the ability to teach proper use and application of EHR are preferred, as is experience in the following software: Credible, CMHC, word processors, and spreadsheets.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Must display strong communication and analytical skills.
• Able to travel in various program locations and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Able to provide telephone-based 24/7 on-call coverage.

Scope:

• Required to sit for long periods of time.
• Light lifting and/or carrying, not to exceed 25 lbs.
