Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: Mechanical Superintendent.Location: Ruffin, North Carolina.Company: Conam Construction CompanyThe Mechanical Superintendent oversees all piping and mechanical activities on the project, ensuring the successful execution of projects in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with engineering teams, managing construction crews, and overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise and coordinate mechanical and piping activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and equipment.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards throughout all piping operations.Collaborate with engineering teams to review project plans, specifications, and schedules, providing input and recommendations as needed.Manage construction crews and subcontractors, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.Conduct regular inspections of piping systems and equipment to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions.Coordinate logistics for materials, tools, and equipment required for piping projects, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project expenses, providing reports and updates to project managers and stakeholders.Implement quality control measures to ensure that piping systems meet design specifications and performance requirements.Provide technical guidance and training to staff and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCurrent and valid driver's license.High school diploma or equivalent.Must pass pre-employment drug test.BAT and background check.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical requirements listed below are essential functions of the position.
