Job Summary

Benjamin’s Pharmacy & Surgical is seeking an experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our growing independent pharmacy team in the Bronx. This role supports daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, insurance billing, patient communication, and workflow coordination.

We focus on personalized patient care, efficient pharmacy operations, and innovative services such as medication synchronization and home delivery. Our technicians play a crucial role in helping patients navigate their medications, resolving insurance issues, and ensuring that prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
• Process prescriptions accurately including data entry, insurance billing, and resolving common claim rejections.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription workflow including filling, labeling, and maintaining organized workstations.
• Communicate with patients regarding prescriptions, refills, medication availability, and delivery coordination.
• Support pharmacy operations by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper medication storage and organization.
• Provide excellent customer service while helping patients navigate insurance coverage, prior authorizations, and pharmacy services.
