Creole Interpreter - In Person

Overview Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability. Languageneeded: Creole - Immediate need Location: Sussex County, Delaware - IN-PERSON Benefits Make your own hours and choose the jobs you want! Great way to supplement your income. Potential for 5-10hours a week. Responsibilities Travel to local client sites, within the Sussex County, Delaware area Provide Creole-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices Job Requirements Full fluency in both English and Creole Daytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 5PM) Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-10 hours a week Access to reliable transportation 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required Candidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry Must have reliable phone service for contact Must be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input By submitting my application, I certify that the information I have provided in this application is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
