Shift Manager Security

Description Position Summary: The Shift Manager Security assists the Manager and Director Security with overseeing Security Department operations on assigned shifts including overseeing security department operations, delegating tasks to team members, resolving guest issues and protecting and safeguarding guest, team member and company assets. Department: Security Reports to: Manager Security FLSA Designation: Exempt License Type: Key Essential Job Functions: Ensures staff complies with approved Security policies and procedures Performs visual surveillance of gaming floor, casino Cage, Count Room and other areas Identifies persons engaged in cheating, theft, embezzlement and other illegal activities or activities inconsistent with established gaming procedures and or regulations Notifies and involves management of suspicious or illegal activities Cooperates with regulatory personnel and agencies as directed Prepares shift and other reports Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to the state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission regulations Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies and programs All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Three or more years related experience Working Conditions: Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel Ability to communicate with team members and guests Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a noisy environment Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rivers Casino
