Team members are encouraged to build strong client relationships and take pride in their craft. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Barber role based in New Orleans, LA. The Licensed Barber will provide haircuts, beard grooming, and basic facial grooming and enhancement services for a diverse range of clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, recommending suitable styles, and delivering high-quality grooming services that align with current trends and classic looks. The role also involves maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, adhering to state barbering and safety regulations, managing appointment times, and contributing to a professional and welcoming shop atmosphere. The Licensed Barber will be expected to support repeat business through excellent customer service and professional conduct. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Barbering and Hair Cutting skills to perform precise cuts and grooming services. Candidates should possess Hair Styling and Hair Care skills to recommend and maintain styles suited to different hair types. Candidates should possess Cosmetology knowledge to perform basic facial and grooming enhancement techniques safely and effectively. Valid state barber license and compliance with local regulations. Experience working in a barbershop or similar grooming environment is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to serve a diverse clientele respectfully.
