Pay Rate: $24.00/hr-$30.00/hr (depending on experience) Location: Indianapolis, IN 46143 Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (some OT may be required) Commercial Drywall Finisher Responsibilities Expert-level joint compound application: Applying a skim coat of joint compound across the entire drywall surface to conceal minor imperfections and create an exceptionally smooth finish. Precise taping and finishing: Accurately applying tape to all joints and corners, ensuring a seamless transition between drywall panels. Multiple coat application: Applying multiple layers of joint compound with meticulous sanding between each coat to achieve a flawless surface. Attention to detail: Identifying and addressing even the smallest imperfections, including screw heads and minor irregularities. Advanced sanding techniques: Utilizing specialized sanding methods to achieve a consistent, smooth finish without visible sanding marks. Quality control: Regularly inspecting work to ensure it meets the stringent standards of a level 5 finish. Commercial Drywall Finisher Qualifications Extensive drywall finishing experience: Proven ability to perform all aspects of drywall finishing at a high level, including taping, mudding, and sanding. Deep understanding of level 5 finishing requirements: Knowledge of the specific techniques and materials needed to achieve a level 5 finish. Ability to read blueprints and project specifications: Understanding project requirements to ensure the correct level of finish is applied.
