Civilian Personnel Advisor

Serve as an advisor and liaison on civilian personnel actions by providing guidance to supervisors and ensuring requests are complete and properly justified.

Initiate personnel actions and recruit/fill Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs) to ensure positions are supported.

Analyze organizational structures and personnel requests to recommend optimal position management solutions and ensure compliance with policies.

Coordinate with the Civilian Human Resource Agency (CHRA) to align staffing priorities, track pending actions, identify bottlenecks, and brief leadership on personnel action status.

Prepare reports, maintain personnel action status accounts, and develop command-level overviews for analysis and decision-making.

Provide technical oversight for personnel action procedures, including analyzing operations, recommending corrective actions, and improving overall effectiveness.

Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and local policies.

Utilize office automation to create briefings and reports to document the status of various actions and progress in achieving stated objectives, and identify areas of emphasis, etc.

Manage and utilize automated personnel data systems to gather information, retrieve data, develop management reports, and support daily operations.
