Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Travel Physical Therapist Assistant supports licensed PTs in delivering patient treatment plans on a 13-week contract in Belle Fourche, SD. The role focuses on executing therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes to ensure high-quality rehabilitation services. Weekly pay can reach up to $1,800, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
• Document patient treatment and responses accurately
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions
• Collaborate with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomes

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active South Dakota PTA license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred Skills:

• Previous clinical experience preferred
