OVER NIGHT CAREGIVER

Overnight Private Pay Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and professional overnight caregiver to join our family-oriented team to provide exceptional care for our elderly father. This is a private pay position requiring attention to detail and a compassionate approach to care.

Location: Willow Grove, PA

Schedule: Part-Time, 3 nights a week, 8 PM - 8 AM

Salary: $20/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing the patient 1-2 times per week.
• Monitor and manage the patient's use of a CPAP machine during sleep.
• Ensure the patient's catheter is properly maintained and functioning.
• Provide companionship and ensure the patient's safety throughout the night.
• Serve tea and water as requested, adhering to the family's organic preferences.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment, leaving no crumbs or untidiness behind.
• Respect the family's sensitivity to scents and avoid the use of perfumes or other strong smells.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving, particularly overnight shifts.
• Knowledge of CPAP and catheter maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to stay awake and alert throughout the 12-hour shift.
• Respectful of the family's organic lifestyle and scent sensitivities.
• Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work consecutive or non-consecutive nights as needed.
