Details Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Epic charting system experience required May float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, with brief unit orientation provided Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required Current BLS certification required Kansas SLP license required in hand (license required if applicable) Acute care and adult dysphagia management experience Experience with adaptive equipment, communication boards, and augmentative/alternative communication devices Bedside swallow evaluation and modified barium swallow study experience Experience with Passy Muir valves and trach/vent patients Voice/resonance assessment skills including acoustic analysis, nasoendoscopy, and videostroboscopy Familiarity with standardized evaluation tools such as ALPS, BIMS, BAE, CADL, CELF, CPS, Minnesota, NOMS, PICA, Rossetti, and WAB Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Responsibilities include patient/family education, dysphagia management, and voice/resonance assessments Perform billing, documentation, assessment, and discharge planning duties Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted, regardless of local status Former staff members must have a 1-year gap before returning in a travel role No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation American Traveler Job ID P-744709.
