This 190-bed Joint Commission-accredited teaching hospital delivers a broad range of services, including 24/7 Emergency Care (Trauma Level III), Cardiovascular Services, Cancer Care, Orthopedic Care, Women's and Children's Health, and Primary Care Services. The outpatient gastroenterology clinic is structured to provide consistent coverage for an adult patient population, with support staff that includes one inpatient PA and one Triage RN. The facility utilizes EPIC EMR and provides training during the onboarding process.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of arts, cultural, and outdoor recreational activities suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include Thorncrag Bird Sanctuary, the Androscoggin Swinging Bridge (approximately 15 miles away), walking trails, and river access for paddling and kayaking. Annual community events such as the Great Falls Balloon Festival, Riverfest, and BrewFest complement the recreational calendar, and Lost Valley Ski Resort is located approximately 15 minutes from the assignment site, with Bates College, Auburn Mall, and coastal and wilderness destinations accessible within a reasonable drive.

The gastroenterology nurse practitioner will provide outpatient clinic coverage on a day shift basis, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include the management of chronic and acute gastroenterology diseases for both new and established patients. Clinicians may order and coordinate endoscopy procedures to be completed by on-site physicians. Clinical documentation is maintained through the EPIC EMR system, with training provided during onboarding.
