Registered Nurse - OB/GYN

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to obstetric patients in a high-risk antepartum unit. Ensure patient safety, monitor fetal well-being, and support obstetric emergencies with clinical proficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor antepartum patients' health status and fetal conditions.
• Administer medications such as Magnesium Sulfate and manage preterm labor interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech and CPIN systems.
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and provide patient education.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Possess at least 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery or antepartum experience.
• Maintain BLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Have previous experience with high acuity obstetric patients and fetal monitoring.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech documentation system.
