The department welcomed its first class of Emergency Medicine Residents in 2020 and also has seen continued rapid growth in the clinical enterprise. The Emergency Medicine Service Line is the 2020-2021 Outstanding Clinical Service Line for the Ochsner Health System. The department is currently recruiting for more Academic Faculty positions at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus as we continue to expand.****We are searching for American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine certified/eligible physicians, preferably with fellowship/additional niche training and a passion for residency education, who can further grow the diversity of excellence within the academic department. We are particularly seeking physicians who are fellowship trained with experience in Simulation, EMS, Ultrasound, as well as those with experience in Quality and Patient Safety and Operations as we continue to develop these divisions and roles within our department.****The Division of Emergency Ultrasound already has three ultrasound-fellowship trained EM physicians.
