Job Title: General Education Teacher (Fourth Grade)

Location: Summerville, SC
Duration: 43 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (8 Hours Per Day)
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Work Setting: 100% Onsite

• Traveler Pay: $45–$50/hour
• Local Pay: $35–$40/hour
  Compensation based on experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Education Teacher to provide classroom instruction and academic support for fourth-grade students. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, deliver standards-based instruction, foster student growth, and collaborate with school staff and families to support student success.

• Deliver effective, engaging instruction aligned with state and district curriculum standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that support academic achievement and student learning objectives.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and maintain accurate academic records.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to promote student engagement and positive behavior.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and student needs.
• Collaborate with administrators, support staff, and families regarding student performance and development.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-related activities.
• Maintain compliance with educational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support school initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Valid South Carolina Department of Education (SC DOE) Teaching License required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field preferred.

• Previous teaching experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
• Experience teaching fourth-grade students preferred.

• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and lesson plans.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, support staff, and families.
• Commitment to fostering student achievement and creating a positive learning environment.
