Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about helping patients recover and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and other treatment modalities to enhance recovery.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and exercise regimens.
Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Occasionally float to the Med-Surg/Swing Bed Unit as needed.

Qualifications

Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitative setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records, specifically Medi-Tech.

Work Schedule

This position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekend shifts as needed.

Dress Code

Staff may wear any color scrubs or street clothes, ensuring no advertising of another facility, company, drugs, alcohol, or inappropriate images/texts.

Parking

On-site parking is available for all staff.

Additional Information

This position is a contract role for a duration of 13 weeks, primarily covering for leave absence within the team.
