Stockers must be proficient in all aspects of the Cavenders Boot City stocking system, and knowledgeable of all paperwork associated with each stocking function. Stockers must prioritize merchandise by order of importance (i.e., empty wrangler shelves should be restocked before empty polish racks are restocked). Stockers are also responsible for keeping the store neat and clean inside and outside./ppstrongDuties and Responsibilities/strong/pulliSupport the Cavenders Culture and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values/liliSupport stocking tasks accurately and efficiently/liliKeep work area neat, clean, and organized/liliBe knowledgeable of all CBC policies and procedures/liliBe knowledgeable of all CBC stocking procedures:/liulliReturn to Stock (RTS)/liliReturn to Vendor (RTV)/liliValidating packing slips/liliTagging merchandise/liliSensor tagging merchandise (if applicable)/li/ulliKeep back-stock moving out to the sales floor to the proper locations/liliReport to work promptly, neatly groomed, and appropriately dressed/liliBe security conscious at all times/liliPerform all other miscellaneous duties as assigned/liliWork with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desired goals set by the company (i.e. Web order completion rate, Company, or Vendor contests)/li/ulpstrongQualifications and Requirements/strong/pulliJob requires associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shift/liliJob requires associate, on a regular basis, to carry objects up to 50 lbs/liliJob requires that the associate regularly pick up objects up to 50 lbs/liliAbility to comprehend basic instructions/liliAbility to interpret documents/liliAbility to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks/liliAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respond/liliAssociate must be able to read English./liliAssociate must be able to understand English/liliAssociate must be able to stay alert during work hours assigned/li/ulpCavenders is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
