Nurse Manager

Job Description The Nurse Manager for the Med-Surg unit plays a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a dedicated nursing team. This position offers an attractive $15K sign-on bonus and does not include weekend shifts, allowing for a balanced work schedule. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and possesses strong leadership skills coupled with hands‑on Med‑Surg experience. Shifts: Days (No weekends) Relocation: Case by Case Basis Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the Med-Surg nursing unit Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to promote clinical excellence Ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care quality and safety Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements as needed Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for the department Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Texas State RN or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines. Previous recent Department Director or Manager experience required, will also a strong CNC looking to step into a Manager role.
