We are looking for friendly, outgoing Baristas who love coffee, enjoy connecting with people, and know how to create a great guest experience. Our baristas are energetic, attentive, quick on their feet, and able to keep things running smoothly while preparing quality beverages and making every guest feel welcome.

In this role, you'll prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, cocktails, and other specialty beverages while also serving draft beer and wine. You'll take orders, make recommendations, handle transactions, and keep the coffee and bar stations clean, stocked, and organized.

At O.H.S.O., personality matters. We want baristas who are engaging, upbeat, and genuinely enjoy interacting with guests while maintaining quality and efficiency during busy shifts.

Dogs are also a big part of the O.H.S.O. experience, so you must enjoy having four-legged guests around!

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, energetic, and positive attitude
• Take orders accurately and make knowledgeable beverage recommendations
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, cocktails, draft beer, and wine
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, beer taps, and other beverage equipment
• Follow recipes and preparation standards to ensure consistent quality
• Stay informed about featured beverages, specials, and new menu items
• Check identification and follow responsible alcohol-service requirements
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized coffee and bar station
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and workstations
• Manage multiple orders while maintaining speed, accuracy, and quality
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service procedures
• Help create a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience preferred
• Knowledge of coffee, espresso beverages, and basic brewing techniques
• Basic knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine
• Current Title 4 liquor certification
• Current Food Handler's Card
• Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol in Arizona
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest-service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must love dogs

Pay

$15.15 hourly pay plus tips

Training and required meetings paid at the applicable hourly rate
