Responsibilities

• Guide a teaching team to create plans, goals, and lead hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the 4- and 5-year-old children in your classroom
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• At least 90 credits toward bachelor's degree in early childhood education is required
• NYS Teaching Certification (B-2, N-6, 1-6, Special Education) or study plan eligibility is preferred
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
• Per NYU Langone, Flu Vaccine by October 15th is required

This position requires in-person work in the Manhattan, New York area.

The hourly rate for this position is between $23.00 – $28.10 per hour. This position is also eligible for hiring incentive of $1,500 payable after 100 days of employment.
