Regional Medical Director - 50% Leadership/50% Clinical: Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley

ASAS Health and Alpine Physician Partners are hiring a Regional Medical Director to oversee clinical and leadership functions in the Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley regions.

Position Overview

Full‑time, 1.0 FTE role with a 50% clinical and 50% leadership focus, including physician assistant supervision and use of the EHR Elation system.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and excellence in patient care across the region.
• Lead and supervise allied health providers and physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve access, quality, and cost of care.
• Participate in strategy and implementation of value‑based care initiatives.
• Maintain credentialing and compliance with employer standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a fully accredited school.
• Completed Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in the corresponding specialty.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Proficiency with the EHR Elation system.
