Presbyterian Village, a premier Retirement Community in Austell, GA is currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to work Monday – Friday & every other weekend 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. This person must be flexible and willing to work a in a variety of different buildings and on different floors within our community. RESPONSIBLILITIES/DUTIES ;

· Performs housekeeping duties in such a way that assures safety, while providing cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.
· Assists on carrying out universal precautions within the facility and complies with infection control policies.
· Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors.
· Vacuums carpeted areas as applicable.
· Empties trash cans, cleans exterior, cleans interior, and replaces with a clean can liner
· Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets, following facility procedures.
· Cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows.
· Cleans behind and underneath furnishings.
· Dust/damp cleans surfaces in resident rooms (furniture, bed frames, windowsills, etc.) following facility procedures, including the use of wet floor signs.
· Moves furniture to clean behind/underneath, according to facility procedures.
· Turns bed mattresses after cleaning.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:
· High school diploma or GED preferred
