Principal Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software Architect -Freight

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Principal Artificial Intelligence (AI) Software Architect. Do you have experience designing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP? What You Will Be Doing As a Principal AI Software Architect within our engineering team, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI‑driven platforms and software systems. You will collaborate across multiple teams to define use cases and deliver impactful solutions aligned with the company’s strategic goals. You will evaluate and select appropriate AI and software technologies, establish best practices in model development, MLOps, and DevOps, and mentor engineering teams to foster innovation and technical excellence. Your role will also involve driving technical strategy, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews, automated testing, and agile methodologies. This is a 6‑month contract with the potential for hire, based in the Bridgeton office with a hybrid schedule (minimum of two days per week in‑office). Key Responsibilities Lead the development of AI‑driven platforms and scalable software systems aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define use cases and deliver solutions. Evaluate, select, and implement AI frameworks, tools, and technologies for performance and scalability. Establish and promote best practices in AI model development, MLOps, and system architecture. Mentor and coach engineering teams to foster innovation and excellence. Drive technical strategy and long‑term planning for AI and software initiatives. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards in all projects. Champion engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration. Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML systems. Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Hands‑on expertise with programming languages like Visual Studio .NET and relational database technologies such as MS SQL Server. Deep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI. Strong leadership and communication skills with a record of mentoring technical teams. Advanced understanding of data privacy laws and security standards. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in high‑pressure settings. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills & Experience Industry experience in enterprise AI and software architecture. Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or AI/ML frameworks. Exposure to AI ethics and responsible AI practices. Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Pay: $49.00 - $70.00 per hour We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
