Academic Instructor

D2 Government Solutions is seeking an Academic Instructor to support Air Advisor Academic Support Services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The Academic Instructor will deliver classroom instruction, support curriculum and courseware updates, evaluate student performance, and help maintain a high-quality training environment aligned with USAF standards. Key Responsibilities Meet USAF Expeditionary Operations School student and qualified instructor requirements. Serve as the focal point and subject matter expert in an assigned discipline and, when qualified, support instruction in additional disciplines. Provide technical support, planning, consultation, analysis, and expert advice to improve instruction. Develop, update, revise, and deliver curriculum and courseware in accordance with USAF policy. Ensure current training materials are available and distributed to students as required. Prepare classrooms and ensure instructional equipment and learning systems are functional. Begin lessons on time and teach in accordance with approved schedules. Perform instruction, demonstrations, testing support, and student evaluations in accordance with syllabi and lesson plans. Support make-up and remedial instruction as needed. Attend meetings, conferences, and instructor professional development events. Required Qualifications Ability to satisfy USAF EOS student and qualified instructor requirements. Relevant subject matter expertise in assigned instructional discipline. Ability to develop and deliver curriculum and courseware. Ability to maintain satisfactory or better Government-administered instructor evaluations. Ability to support lesson preparation, student materials management, and classroom operations. Preferred Qualifications Prior military instructor, PME, advisor training, or security cooperation teaching experience. Experience with courseware development, lesson plan revision, and classroom technology. Experience teaching adult learners in military or Government training environments. Work Location and Conditions Primary performance is expected at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Duty hours are generally Monday through Friday, but workdays may extend up to ten hours and may include evenings, weekends, or holidays to support mission schedules. #J-18808-Ljbffr
