Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, performing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical records
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful evaluation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Deep understanding of surgical principles and sterile technique
