Mentor Teacher Leaders – Grant Funded Location: Saugus Public Schools, Saugus, Massachusetts Position Type: After school/Evening Salary: $3,642 Stipend Job Description Participate in in-district training with state approved Mentor Training Instructor. Hold Fall & Spring training sessions for those interested in becoming Mentor Teachers in the Saugus Public Schools. Participate in the planning, set-up, and design of the New Teacher Induction Program and 2nd year Mentor Program. Coordinate and assist in the development and instruction of the district Mentor/Mentee Program on a monthly basis. Model professionalism. Attend professional development offerings in support of the mentoring program. Perform any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent. Report to the Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability. Qualifications Minimum of five years teaching experience. Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. Professional status with both the Saugus Public Schools and DESE. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
