Supervisor Laboratory

Job Summary Supervisor of the Laboratory Department, responsible for the daily operations of the laboratory, scheduling and direct supervision of all laboratory personnel. Performs clinical laboratory testing in designated areas, investigates and resolves problems with physicians, patients, nursing, and other hospital personnel. Ensures laboratory policies and procedures are followed, reviews and reports all quality assurance issues, provides counseling and instruction to employees, communicates with the Laboratory Director, assists with CAP inspections, completes technical or special projects, makes management decisions in absence of the Director, and reviews daily reports. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (MLT-State) Medical Lab Technician – State, (MLS) Medical Laboratory Scientist, (MLT) Medical Laboratory Technician, or (H-ASCP) Technologist in Hematology No Travel Required Experience 4 years experience required.
