Processes prepared foods for service using standard kitchen equipment Assure that each item is cooked to the Chef and guest’s specifications Garnish each dish properly Adhere to instructions provide by the Head Chef, Lowes Foods manuals, and documentation Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, cooking equipment, prep equipment, and storage equipment both during and after service Stock inventory appropriately and according to established standards and systems Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served Maintain safety and sanitation throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards. Provide guests service consistent with our established Purpose, Priorities, and Service Standards. Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards. Perform other related duties as assigned by the management staff Qualifications Previous food preparation experience is helpful but not required. Friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to read and understand information and direction.
