About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varying 10-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years preferred License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred; can work with someone without PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in PACU Recovery of vascular, cath lab, and endoscopy preferred Description: The PACU unit consists of a variety of patients, including those recovering from general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedics, colorectal, vascular, endoscopy, and interventional radiology procedures. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 until critical elements are met, after which ratios may adjust to 2:1. Usual PACU equipment is utilized within the unit. Candidates should be eager to work and willing to assist team members. The dress code consists of surgical scrubs, which will be provided. Candidates will undergo onboarding education and will be precepted by a staff member.
