Clinical Content & Safety Specialist — Autism / Neurodiversity (Remote)

Help make online neurodevelopmental screening content safer, clearer and more respectful. Autism Test Free is a multilingual online self-assessment and education platform offering free RAADS-R and ADHD screening experiences, AI-assisted insights and a growing knowledge center. These tools support self-reflection and screening; they are not diagnoses and do not replace qualified professional evaluation. The role We are seeking a clinically trained specialist to improve the evidence quality, safety and tone of assessment guidance and educational content. This is a fully remote contractor role that can begin part-time. You will help us communicate uncertainty responsibly, avoid stigmatizing language and maintain a clear boundary between screening information and clinical diagnosis. What you will do Review assessment instructions, score interpretations, result explanations, disclaimers and next-step guidance. Create practical evidence, citation and editorial standards for screening instruments and neurodevelopmental content. Audit AI-assisted insights for overconfidence, false reassurance, harmful framing and inappropriate clinical claims. Promote neurodiversity-affirming, plain-language content that respects different lived experiences. Identify content that needs stronger qualification, escalation guidance or professional-review boundaries. Support quality review across localized content and collaborate with product, engineering and growth contributors. What you bring Clinical training in psychology, psychiatry, medicine, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy or a comparable mental-health discipline. Relevant experience with autism, ADHD, neurodevelopmental assessment, adult mental health or neurodiversity-informed care. Excellent written English and the ability to translate clinical nuance into respectful plain language. Strong evidence-review skills and disciplined respect for scope, uncertainty and user safety. Ability to give structured, practical feedback asynchronously in a remote team. Useful, but not required Experience with digital-health content, clinical AI evaluation, research, guideline development or multilingual review. Lived-experience-informed or participatory design work with autistic or neurodivergent communities. What success looks like in the first 90 days Deliver a prioritized clinical-content and safety audit of the core assessment and result journeys. Create a repeatable evidence and language-review rubric for new and existing content. Improve at least one high-impact result, disclaimer or next-step flow.
