Overview Join ENERCON as a Principal Power Uprate Civil Engineer and play a key role in advancing nuclear energy solutions across the country. In this leadership-level position, you'll leverage your expertise to guide complex engineering projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the safe and efficient implementation of power uprates at nuclear facilities. Locations Glendale, AZ San Luis Obispo, CA Kennewick, WA Chattanooga, TN Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta) Naperville, IL (Suburb of Chicago) Overland Park, KS Ft Worth, TX Baton Rouge, LA Palm Beach Gardens, FL Birmingham, AL Remote will be considered for candidates with sufficient experience Responsibilities As a valued member of our engineering team, you'll take on meaningful challenges that directly impact the safety, reliability, and performance of our clients' facilities. You'll support the analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures and components while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating proposed modifications, preparing technical reports, calculations, and specifications, and communicating findings to project teams, clients, and other key stakeholders. Every task you tackle contributes directly to the safety, reliability, and innovation of our client facilities. Ideal candidates will have prior experience supporting power uprate projects and a strong foundation in civil/structural design and plant modifications. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university 10+ years of civil/structural design experience in nuclear or power generation Experience evaluating structural impacts of major equipment upgrades and power uprates preferred Experience with concrete, steel, seismic and structural analysis Strong communication and technical writing skills Ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers US Citizenship required Compensation Range USD $120,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
