CRNA Locum Tenens Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $8,640–$9,100
• Location: Sumter, South Carolina
• Start Date: December 21, 2026
• End Date: March 22, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Call: None
• Patient Population: Pediatric through adult patients
• Clinical Setting: General anesthesia practice
• Documentation System: Epic

CRNA Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credential
• Board certification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
• At least 2 years of CRNA experience after completion of training
• Active South Carolina CRNA license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience providing anesthesia care for both pediatric and adult patients
• Recent Epic experience is preferred; training may be available for qualified providers without Epic experience
• Professional history and credentials must meet applicable privileging and credentialing standards

CRNA Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric through adult patients
• Deliver general, “bread-and-butter” anesthesia services within the established scope of practice
• Evaluate patients before procedures and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia while maintaining patient safety throughout procedures and recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
• Accurately document clinical care and anesthesia records in Epic
• Practice in a setting that does not include cardiac, neurosurgical, or obstetric anesthesia
