About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: No license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Call rotation on weekends and overnight as needed Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit Clinical screens will be sent on a case-by-case basis Description: The position involves working in a Cardiac Cath Lab. Candidates should have experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, performing procedures accurately, and maintaining equipment. Experience with cardiac implant closure devices, stents, and electrophysiology procedures is preferred. Candidates will participate in a call rotation and may care for COVID patients. It is essential to adhere to sterile techniques and maintain a sterile field during procedures. Candidates must demonstrate accurate hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Required skills include IABP placement/removal, temporary pacemaker insertion, and vascular closure systems. The daily patient workload will vary, with a focus on pre/post-procedure care. Interdisciplinary support will be available from interpretation services, social services, and pharmacy. This role requires a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
