What's in it for You? $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience Full-time, consistent work Hands-on plumbing training and mentorship from experienced professionals Opportunities to develop valuable residential and commercial plumbing skills Career advancement opportunities as you gain experience Support as you work toward becoming a skilled, licensed plumber Positive, team-oriented work environment Why You’ll Love It Here Build practical skills by working alongside experienced plumbers in the field Learn plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting through hands-on experience Develop the technical knowledge you need to advance your plumbing career Work with a team that values reliability, professionalism, safety, and quality workmanship Gain experience with plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, drains, water lines, hand tools, and power tools Build a long-term career in the skilled trades instead of settling for a job with nowhere to go Your New Role Work as a full-time Apprentice Plumber in College Station, TX 77840 Assist experienced and licensed plumbers with residential and/or commercial plumbing service and installation Install, repair, and maintain plumbing pipes, fixtures, drains, water lines, and related plumbing equipment Assist with diagnosing plumbing problems and determining appropriate repair solutions Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and plumbing materials Safely operate plumbing hand tools and power tools Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and job materials Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with job-site safety requirements Follow applicable plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety standards Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, supervisors, and other tradespeople Learn from experienced plumbers while continuously developing your plumbing installation, service, repair, and troubleshooting skills At least 1 year of plumbing experience Current Texas Plumber Apprentice registration is preferred, or ability to obtain registration Basic knowledge of plumbing tools, materials, piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the plumbing trade Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Reliable transportation Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and professional approach to work Ability to safely perform the essential physical duties of the position, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces, with reasonable accommodation when applicable Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying Texas weather conditions Yellowstone Local and its hiring partners are Equal Opportunity Employers.
