Groundskeeper

Winterwood, Inc. is hiring for the role of Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that the grounds of the community are attractive, orderly, and healthy. Position Details: Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week) Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Compensation: $20.00 per hour What We Offer: Sign-On Bonus: $500 (Payable on first paycheck. Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holiday pay). Referral program. Opportunities for advancement and more! Qualifications: Previous experience in groundskeeping and/or basic maintenance preferred. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. Job Responsibilities: Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc. Keep walkways, driveways, and other areas free from debris and litter. Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection. Assists with maintenance work orders. Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting. Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
