As a Production Operator Packer working the day shift, you will be responsible for preparing packaging, packaging finished products, conducting quality inspections, and interacting with the ERP system. Other duties include assisting in setting up the line, making minor process adjustments, housekeeping, and special projects assigned by the supervisor such as sorting, reworking, grinding.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Inspecting parts and recording according to inspection requirements.
• Packaging and labeling according to packaging instructions.
• Removing all of the old tooling and returning to the proper designated areas. Cleaning up area and preparing for the next job.
• Cleaning, sweeping, and organizing the workstation(s).
• Ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Inspecting products and materials at various points during the manufacturing process for quality.
• Additional responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

What you need:

• High School or General Education diploma required.
• Previous manufacturing or technical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively use the computer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Proficient at using Microsoft Office Word, Excel.

Physical work requirements include standing or walking most of a 12-hour shift, bending, squatting, and twisting required several times an hour, frequent lifting.
