This contract opportunity, located near Lincolnville, ME, offers the chance to work closely with children in 1st through 5th grade, supporting their development and empowering them to succeed both in and out of the classroom. The role begins as soon as possible and runs through June 9, 2027, providing consistency and a sense of purpose across multiple school years.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Maine Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged children (grades 1–5)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Previous school-based OT experience a plus, though not required
• Dedication to fostering growth, independence, and access for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary school students in both group and individual settings
• Assess students’ functional abilities and create goal-oriented treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to best support each child’s needs
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Utilize creativity and compassion to adapt interventions for a dynamic school environment
• Work a consistent schedule: 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, ensuring students receive continuous care
