Managing the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties:/polliWork in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies. Help ensure co-workers are working safely and following safety requirements./liliFollow all applicable procedures, Standardized Work, Control Plans, and Product Specifications./liliAssist in identifying training needs and propose ideas to improve quality metrics./liliLearn, understand and implement AMS and continuous improvement concepts./liliSupport and participate in Employee Engagement activities./liliFollow defined clean-up times./liliEngage in cross-training to maintain flexibility and adaptability to support resource planning./liliWork to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized Work./liliOperate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required./liliParticipate in defining and improving standard work/liliIdentify problems; communicate issues to WC Leads and Supervisors./liliUnderstand and use problem solving tools to improve SQDC./liliAssist with training co-workers./liliSupport a respectful workplace./liliPerform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management./liliMay or may not operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) based on operations/department need./li/olh3Qualifications And Skills/h3ulliHigh school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience./liliBasic computer skills./liliAbility to meet physical requirements, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods./liliAbility to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations./liliPossess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills./liliDependability/punctuality./liliHave a basic understanding of Window and Door manufacturing requirements/li/ulh3Physical Demands For Essential Functions: Tier III/h3ulliAbility to safely lift and carry up to 60 pounds/liliAbility to safely push and/or pull up to 98 pounds of force/liliClimb stairs/steps at will/liliObtain a variety of positions such as stooping, reaching, twisting etc./liliAbility to grasp and pinch frequently throughout the day/liliWork around and near moving equipment and machinery/li/ulpPay Range: $22.05 - $26.11/ph3Culture And Benefits/h3pAt Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
