Registered Nurse – Night Shift The Good Samaritan Society (GSS) is a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of experience providing housing and services to seniors. This position is located at the Albion, NE facility (1222 S 7th St, Albion, NE 68620). Job Details Facility: GSS NE Albion Location: Albion, NE Shift: 12‑hour night shift Schedule: Full time, 36 hours per week Salary: $32 – $48 per hour Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborate with residents, families, and inter‑disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Provide care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform various nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel within their job descriptions, competence, and the delegate’s skill level. Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Act within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules. Qualifications Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure acceptable if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications. Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilize age‑ and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting.
