Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Denver, CO, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit at a hospital in Denver, CO
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730)
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to start date
• NRP certification required — must be AHA-issued and not expire prior to start date
• ACLS or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient nursing care in the L&D setting
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and supportive therapy for patients
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO requests will be approved within reason
