About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory therapy services to patients across a full continuum of medical specialties within a large acute care hospital setting
• Perform assessments, treatments, and monitoring of patients requiring respiratory care, including ventilator management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including availability for designated holiday blocks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — CRTs will not be considered for this position
• Minimum 3 years of current RRT experience required
• Active Massachusetts RRT State License required
• Active NBRC (National Board of Respiratory Care) certification required
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Must possess own vehicle for use during this assignment
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of profile upload — no RTO requests will be approved after submission; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Experience working in a large teaching hospital environment
