Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or Until Work Is Completed

Looking for a stable forklift position with weekly pay and overtime opportunities? We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a food manufacturing facility in Savannah, GA. This role supports production operations by safely moving materials, loading and unloading products, and supplying production lines throughout the shift.

This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to food safety and GMP standards.

Job Duties

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport inventory between warehouse and production areas
• Stage materials to support daily production schedules
• Perform routine equipment inspections before operation
• Follow all GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures

Must-Have Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow GMP, safety, and food manufacturing procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing or warehouse experience
• GMP experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Environment

• Food manufacturing facility
• Fast-paced production environment
• Combination of forklift operation and physical material handling
• Frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the facility
• PPE required in designated areas
• Overtime may be required based on production demands
