Facility: Highpoint Health – Sumner
Location: Gallatin, TN
Unit: A6
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
Openings: 1
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Weekend: As needed / Every 3rd weekend
Call: None
Floating: As needed – must be willing to float
Travel Requirement: Must live 60+ miles from the facility
Requirements
- 1+ year RN experience
- Tennessee RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) – required
- Good assessment skills preferred
- Must be motivated, hardworking, compassionate, and a team player
- Must be comfortable asking questions when needed
Unit Details
- 23-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 4–6:1
- EHR: Meditech
- Trauma Level III
- Patient population: Adults, geriatrics, and patients age 13+
- Common cases:
- Post-op joint patients
- Post-op bariatric patients
- Post-op GI
- Trauma patients
Dress Code
- Scrubs: Any color
- T-shirts must have the hospital logo
- No acrylic nails
Good to know: The facility is open to 48-hour guaranteed contracts and weekend block scheduling
