Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 6 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live>50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Central Maine Healthcare.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:- Telemetry experience.- Interpretation of dysrhythmias.- Management of dysrhythmias.

Unit Details:- Adult and geriatric patient population.- Common diagnoses/treatments: total hip, total knee, total shoulder, hip fracture, spine surgery, trauma surgery, general medical/surgical overflow.- Common medications include Hydromorphone PCA and epidurals.- High volume discharges and admissions daily.- Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, SIGMA Spectrum Infusion System, and Omnicell.

Shift&Scheduling:- Every other weekend required.- No call.

Floating Requirements:- Float to all sister units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
