UFIT Internship Sports Program

About the Program Are you a high school student with a passion for sports, leadership, and helping others? UFIT (University of Fitness Information and Technology) is offering a hands‑on internship where you’ll gain real‑world experience in school sports coaching while supporting student wellness, teamwork, and active play. What You’ll Do Assist lead coaches during PE and after‑school sports programs Help facilitate warm‑ups, drills, and games for elementary or middle school students Encourage positive play, teamwork, and inclusion during activities Learn and apply basic sports instruction and classroom management techniques Model respect, fairness, and enthusiasm on and off the field What We’re Looking For A passion for sports, fitness, or working with youth Dependable, respectful, and eager to learn Able to take direction and work as part of a team Strong communication and leadership potential Available at least 2 days a week after school (flexible hours) What You’ll Gain Community service hours or school internship credit Hands‑on training in youth sports coaching and leadership Mentorship from experienced educators and coaches Letters of recommendation (upon successful completion) Resume‑building experience in youth development and education Requirements Must be a current college student Be able to work between the hours of 7am‑3pm Parental/guardian permission required TB test and background check Willingness to attend our paid orientation/training Our locations are in several school sites in Los Angeles #J-18808-Ljbffr UFIT
